The Boston College Center for International Higher Education and the Higher School of Economics in Moscow will be undertaking a study of global faculty salary/remuneration in 30 countries.  We will be looking at salary/remuneration trends, patterns of faculty employment, and related issues. We will identify a research colleague in each country to undertake the actual work with us and develop a “country report” based on a common template. The report will be short, but will require some generation of data or careful examination of existing data since salary trends are unavailable for many countries. The research colleague will be expected to come to a research conference in Moscow in October 2010 to discuss draft reports and later to revise.
